COMMUNITY GROUPS
Community groups are a fantastic way to meet others in your church community and to share life together while also growing in your faith. During community groups, you can expect a time of enriching fellowship around dinner or dessert, great hospitality from our group leaders, a gospel-centered discussion dependent on God's Word, and a rich time of prayer as we depend on God and build each other up with the good news of Jesus Christ.
Fall Community Groups
Our Fall session of Community Groups is currently in session and continues through the week of December 2nd. If you have questions or want to join a group late, please reach out to Mikey.
Community Group FAQs
Why should I join a community group?
There are many reasons you should join a community group. These groups will provide a place where you can meet others in your church community and can share life together while also growing in your faith.
Who can join a community group?
Anyone high school age and older can join a community group! We are excited to have intergenerational groups where we can learn from each other and create meaningful relationships that span different seasons of life.
Do I have to be a Christian to join a group?
We welcome people who aren’t Christians who want to explore faith and grow closer in the community! We hope that wherever you are in your relationship with God, you’ll feel welcome to join.
What happens at a community group?
You can expect to enjoy a meal or dessert together, spend time discussing the Bible, and spend time praying for each other.
What is the time commitment to join a group?
Each session of Community Groups meets for eight to ten weeks, and each meeting is two hours long. We hope you are able to make it every week, but understand you may have to miss a couple of meetings.
Which group should I join?
We recommend joining a group that is close to the area you live or the area you work in. The benefits of this are that you will meet people who live closer to you and it will better enable you to connect to your neighbors and coworkers. And of course, you should join a group that fits your schedule!
Is childcare provided?
Each group is different when it comes to childcare. Groups may facilitate their own childcare or you may be asked to find a babysitter depending on your child’s age. If you need childcare, please check that box when filling out a form so we can organize childcare or suggest a group that might be a better fit.
