GCC has a heart to reach college students and young adults with the Gospel of Jesus Christ. College is a pivotal time in one’s life, and we believe college students and young adults need the support of a church community and encouragement to pursue a relationship with Christ through reading the Bible, prayer, and discipleship.

Christian Challenge ucsc

Christian Challenge is a college ministry at UC Santa Cruz that wants to help people connect with an authentic group of friends and explore what it means to take the next step in their relationship with Jesus. We hope to create an environment where everyone feels welcome to come make new friends and learn more about following God. We do this through our on-campus meetings, fun events, one-on-one discipleship, community service projects, retreats, conferences, and mission trips.

College students are part of our church family! Join us for worship and teaching at 9:00am or 11:00am every Sunday morning.

Community Groups

Community Groups are a fantastic way to meet people of all ages in your church community and to share life together while also growing in your faith through enriching fellowship, great hospitality, a gospel-centered discussion, and a time of prayer. Discipleship

God has given us the church in order that we may stir up one another to love and good works. In one-on-one discipleship relationships, we have the opportunity to do just that, as a way of helping each other grow in Christ!
