volunteer on our Connections team
Our connections team provides a warm welcome to our guests and regular attenders. Team members make guests feel seen and anticipate their needs. Team members serve as greeters and assist in taking offering and passing out communion.
Requirements & Expectations
Time Commitment: We ask our Connections Team volunteers to serve twice a month. First service volunteers arrive at 8:20am, and second service volunteers arrive at 10:30am.
Responsibilities: Welcome people as they arrive at church, spend fifteen minutes in conversation with someone new, distribute offering bags and communion as necessary, stuff bulletins before service.
Training: Our goal is to provide an excellent, welcoming experience for both guests and for our regular attenders. To do this, we will provide you with a Connections Handbook. It outlines the expectations of greeting on Sunday and provides tips on connecting with guests and welcoming them well.
Church Attendance: We expect each of our volunteers to be regularly attending church services.
