volunteer on our High School Ministry team
Our high school leaders make a difference in high school students’ lives through having fun together and through actively engaging in Biblical discussion together. Our team of leaders exists to love and disciple our students as they grow in their faith.
Requirements & Expectations
High School: We require our high school volunteers to attend our weekly youth group meetings during the school year and attend events as they occur. We also require our volunteers to be present on Sunday mornings and encourage them to join us for lunch after church to build community and connect students to each other.
Age Minimum: High school volunteers must be at least one full year out of high school.
Background Check & LiveScan: We require each of our leaders to submit to a background check and to get fingerprinted. This is to both protect our students and the church and to protect you.
Membership: We hold our youth volunteers to a high standard of faith because they are role models for our students and have the responsibility of sharing God’s Word with them. You must be a member or have intentions of becoming a member to volunteer in youth ministry and be willing to uphold the membership covenant.
