volunteer in kids ministry
Our kids min team provides a fun, safe, and gospel-centered environment that hopes to grow our kiddos in the love of Christ through nurture and Biblical truth. As a Kids Min volunteer, you will have a huge impact on the kids and families that come through our doors.
We currently have four classrooms - Nursery, Toddlers, Preschool, & K/1. Responsibilities of a kids ministry volunteer include providing a warm, safe environment, playing games and engaging in activities with the children, and leading Bible lessons.
Requirements & Expectations
Time Commitment: We ask our kids min volunteers to serve twice a month. Volunteers arrive early before the service they are serving at to help set up their classroom.
Attend Kids Min Meetings: Our kids min team meets each month to grow and learn together and to discuss how we can be doing things better. We would love to have your input at these meetings.
Background Check, LiveScan, & Training: We take the care of our kids seriously! If you are 18 years or older, you will be required to submit to a background check, get fingerprinted, and go through our abuse awareness training. This is to both protect our kiddos and the church and to protect you.
Membership: We hold our kids min volunteers to a high standard of faith because they are role models for our kids and have the responsibility of sharing God’s Word with them. Membership is generally not required, however, if you would like to teach the Bible lesson, membership or intention of membership is required.
