Church ministry should never be done in isolation! Our heart at GCC is to serve the greater kingdom of God in the Bay Area and we are doing that through the following partnerships:

North American Missions Board

NAMB is the missions department of the Southern Baptist Convention (SBC). The SBC is the largest denomination in America and has provided a strong support system for our new church. We chose the SBC because of their conservative doctrinal focus and their emphasis on local and global missions. No one does missions like the SBC! Part of their missions focus is on planting churches in areas that are in desperate need of gospel-teaching churches. The Bay Area is a big focus for them and they are excited to partner with us.

Great Commission Association

Our local partner through the Southern Baptist Convention is the Great Commission Association. The association provides a strong network of churches that partner together in a variety of ways. They have a heart for planting new churches and have been a great encouragement and support along our journey.

Cambrian Park Baptist Church

Our “sending church” through the Southern Baptist Convention, CPBC has been an incredible blessing to us as we’re getting started. A faithful church that has served the Bay Area for decades, CPBC is a model of the care we want to have for our people! CPBC’s pastors prayed over and commissioned our pastors for ministry and are helping us on our journey.

City to City Bay Area

Tim Keller started City to City as a way to train church planters across the country. This “incubator” program is designed to bring about 15 church planters together from across the San Francisco Bay Area to learn together and to be instructed by some of the leading church planters in the area as well as some of the top church-planting experts in the country. Upon completion of the incubator, City to City will provide us with funding.
